"A truly inspiring and original tribute to Neil Diamond and his music".

He has enormous respect for Neil Diamond and believes him to be one of the finest song writers and performers of modern times. Although there is a striking similarity in the vocal tones and delivery of Neils songs in his tribute, he insists that it is really more about the man ( Neil Diamond ) and the wonderful music he has written over the decades.. He performs these songs with a passion and at times you may be forgiven for thinking that Neil is on the stage. What you are really getting of course, is the best of both worlds as He performs song after song from Neils amazing song book, in his own inimitable style and leaves the audience in no doubt what so ever that they are experiencing a truly remarkable tribute to the great man.

Without a doubt, one of the finest singers around and you will find plenty of audio and video proof on his website to support that. At the Embassy Theatre in Skegness, Lincolnshire, he was awarded the Lincolnshire Top Male Vocalist Award presented by East Lindsey District Council.

He first started singing at the age of eight when he used to sing hymns to two of his Great Aunts. Nobody else new this, other than the aunts and they were glad to keep their secret to themselves as it gave them the monopoly on his already good voice. By the time he reached 13, he had his first guitar and was beginning to perform songs mainly in the folk and country genre's. Also at this age he joined a number of different theatre groups, the best known of these, being The Brighton Theatre Group. He gained much experience with these groups and also played many leading roles in various productions.

At 16 he started to have his voice trained properly by a lady named Elizabeth Mackenzie. Elizabeth immediately recognised the potential in the voice and set about training him for a classical career. Just before his 18th birthday, Elizabeth took him for an audition with "The George Mitchell Singers", they were the televised singers who used to black up and had the white lips, for those of you who may not remember. Sadly, wouldn't be "PC" these days. Anyway, he sang "Ol Man River" an ideal choice, considering the show format etc. He was offered a contract and was asked to show his "Equity Card" Don't have one, he said. Off to the Equity office they went." Can I have an Equity Membership please", "Where's your contract", they said. So no contract, no equity card, no equity card, no contract and that was the beginning and end of a potential West End career and so began the alternative career that has now spanned the best part of 40 years and indulged him in all the typical highs and lows of this precarious business.

Today, he is putting all that experience, knowledge and of course talent into a spectacular Neil Diamond Tribute that is a must for all Diamond fans and also those who have a general interest in the music of Neil Diamond. He worked very hard to put this show together and it has received much acclaim from those already fortunate enough to have experienced it. He has also produced two alternative tributes to swing and country music. The Non Tribute act encompasses all these genre's along with many other popular hits over the decades.
