The South West's No.1 Blues Brother tribute band. This band are a live, 11-piece tribute act recreating the classic Blues Brothers sound.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we’re wearing sunglasses... Hit it!
Everybody of a certain age remembers the immortal lines uttered by Jake & Elwood Blues in the 1980, all-time classic film the Blues Brothers.
This band pay homage to the film, which featured many Blues and Soul anthems. We are one of the few Blues Brothers tribute acts to faithfully reproduce the classic songs complete with a horn section, driving rhythm and backing singers. You don't get two guys dressed in black suits, wearing shades and dancing to backing tapes with us!
This fabulous tribute to Jake and Elwood Blues captures the very essence of the films and the Blues Brothers live sound. All this, along with a topping of great soul songs from the film The Commitments. Re-visit that sweet soul music with all time classics like "Everybody Needs Somebody", "Soul Man", "Gimme Some Lovin", "Shake A Tailfeather", "Rawhide" and much more.
Put on your shades and hats and kick back. Jake and Elwood will have you up and out of your seats dancing and singing in no time in this high energy, power packed show. The show is fantastic entertainment for all ages and the perfect enhancement to any event.
We play all the classic Blues Brothers hits you'd expect, plus a few from the Commitments. We also throw in a few 'crowd pleasers' to get the party going!
Based in Bath, Somerset and covers up to 100 miles.
Hey guys and girls, just wanted to say well done on last nights gig, you were all absolutely incredible, you put on one hell of a show and with any luck it will definately not be the last time I see you!! Also, thank you for allowing King Marapaka to support you, we had a lot of fun playing that venue, keep in touch if you want us again.
What an absolutely brilliant show you guys put on last night. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE enjoyed it!
Just wanted to say what a great gig on Friday at the Guildhall. We thought it was one of your best performances (of which we’ve seen). My relations couldn’t believe how fantastic the musicians were and how as a group you were just brilliant.
Awesome show guys, I even missed the Wurzels to come, and that means something!!!
